One of our most famous places by the sea, is a bridge between Sweden and Denmark.
All children worked with bridges a whole day. Every group got to use:
20 straws
30 popsicle sticks
glue
string
4 papers
They worked for about 3 hours.
The bridge should be between 60 and 65 cm and be able to place over a 55 cm long obstacle.
It had to be 10 cm broad.
It should be able to carry 1 kg
Then there was a competion where we looked at the tecnical design as well as the looks of the bridges.
